Part I of Table C in the Schedule to the Merchant Shipping Ordinance, 1893, is hereby rescinded and the following Part is substituted therefor:—

General.

  1. (a) The fee for any survey or inspection within the Colony during office hours is inclusive of the Surveyor's travelling and other expenses. For the services of a Surveyor outside the Colony or before or after office hours special fees are to be charged as provided for in Regulations 19 and 20 respectively.

(b) The necessary fees or a substantial deposit on account must be paid before any survey, inspection or other service can be undertaken and all outstanding expenses or balance of fees must be paid before the case can be completed and the required certificate issued.

(c) All fees and expenses must be paid at the Harbour Office.

(d) An official receipt is given for all payments and if official confirmation of a payment is subsequently required a copy of the original receipt will be supplied on payment of $2.
