  • Gruel: Each pint to contain 2 oz oatmeal; 1 oz molasses; with salt.
  • Suet Pudding: To every pound: 1½ oz suet; 6½ oz flour; 8 oz water.
  • Cocoa: Each pint to contain 1 oz flake cocoa or nibs; 1 oz molasses or sugar.
  • Tea: Each pint to contain 1 oz tea; 1 oz sugar.
