THESE QUESTIONS ARE TO BE FILLED UP IN RESPECT OF EACH PRISON IN THE COLONY.

I-If the Prison is on a separate system, is the reparation coupleto ? And, if not, what is the sepuru- tion enforced, by day and night rospectively?
II-If not on the seperate system, what provision is there for the supervision of the prisoners while in association ?
11-How many cells are there; and how many nemoeinted wards ?
IV. Taking the average mumber of prisoners in Gnol, how many cubic feet of space are there for caeli prisoner during the hours of strup ?
V.—How are the prisoners classified ?

The Victoria Gnal is nearly au the sepuruto system. The Branch Prism nt Lai Chi Kok is not on the separato sysłoni. Prisoners work and steep in asso- riation.
Vietoria Gani :—All toll doors are provided with inspection holes through which the prisoners enn be seen by the officers patrolling the wards, While at labour or exercise the prisoners are at all times nuder the imusedinte supervision of Principal Worders, Worders, nol Assistant Wonders.
