A bathroom and lavatory is attached to each land- ing, one for European females, one for European males, one for Asiatic females and one for Asiatic males.

Water-closets of the wash-out type provided with wuste-preventing cisterns are used.

Seclusion means "the unforced isolation of a patient by day between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. by the closing by any means whatsoever of the door of the room in which the patient is ". The term "acclusion” does not apply to patients who are locked up in their rooms at night, as all patients sleeping in single roonis are locked up.
