The longkong Tramway Company, Limited, shall pay to the Government
the following Royalties, that is to say :-
(a.) From 22nd September, 1914, for the period of twonty-five years, a Royalty nimounting to five per cent, per annum of the profits of the Company.
(b.) After the maid period of twenty-five years (22ud September, 1939) has expired and for so long as the Company shall excrcise their anid rights, powers nud authorities a Royalty amounting to twenty-five per cent. per annum of the profits of the Company. For the purpose of this section profits shall be the gross takings of the Company less working expenses, and such working expeuses shall not be deemed to include any interest or dividends upon any monoya borrowed for the purposes of the Company.
