Parcels exceeding 5 lb. in weight, 2 feet in length, or 1 foot in breadth or depth, are only delivered at places to which there is regular communication by railway, coach, or steamer. Nu compensation is given for loss or damage of parcels containing liquids, semi-liquids, perishable or fragile articles or in respect of loss or damage of unin sured parcels or their contents.
Parcels are accepted for Corinto, San Juan del Sur, Managua, Leon, Chinandega, Ocutal, Somoto, Mat- agalpa, Jinotega, Granada, Juigalpa, Masaya, Rivas and Jinotepe.
If the value of goods contained in a parcel or in several parcels sent by the same mail by one sender for the same addressee exceeds 50 plastres (or 10) the declaration must be certified by a Nicaraguan Consul. Parcels must be sealed and strongly packed,
The conveyance of parcels to places in Northern Nigeria is at the risk of the addressees, who also have to pay on delivery additional charges for inland conveyance.
