REMARKS.
(1) Lieut. C. W. Borkwith acted as Harbour Master from 4th
August to 10th October.
(2) Lieut. C. W. Beckwith appointed Superintendent of
Imports and Exports Office on 18th September.
(3) Died on 20th October.
(4) During Mr. Lonfestey's half-pay leave from 27th October to 31st December, Messrs. Fan Tsung Hing, Ohan Pui Sam and Fung Sz-fong each drew half of their own pay and half pay of the post in which they acted; and Mr. Lai Wing-
shun, temporary clerk, acted as and drew half pay of 5th Grade Clerk.
(5) Transferred to Marine Surveyor's Office on 20th March
and post reduced to 8th Grade.
