REMARKS.

(3) Dr. J. W. Hartley acted as Medical Officer to the Kowloon-Canton Railway (British Section) and drew pay at the rate of of £480 per annum from Colonial Funds and of £480 per annum with Conveyance Allowance of £100 per annum from Railway Construction Funds from 5th October to 31st December. Occupied free quarters from 1st January to 4th October.

(4) Mr. Cheng Kam Ming, Mr. Li Mun and Mr. Tong Hok Ling drew 313, $10 and $10 a month respectively

out of lapsing half salary of Apothecary and Assistant Analyst from 20th May to 31st December.
