Royalties.-

The Electric Traction Co. of Hongkong Limited shall pay to the Government

the following Royalties, that is to say :-

(a) From 13th August 1914 for the period of twenty-five years, a Royalty amounting to five per ceut, per annum of the profits of the Company.

(b) After the suid period of twenty-five years (13th August 1949) bas expired and for so long as the Company shall exercise their said right, powers und authorities a Royalty amounting to twenty-five per cent, per annum of the profits of the Company. For the purpose of this section profits shall be the gross takings of the Company less working expeuses, and such working expenses shall not be deeme to include any interest or dividends upon any moneys borrowed for the purposes of the Company.

Unclaimed Balances,—

Indivisible residue and unclaimed dividends, and Interest on funds in Court

transferred to tlm General Revenue of the Colony.
