REMARKS.
(1) Mr. A. C. Franklin acted for Mr. F. Browne during his absence and drew half of his own salary and half of the initial Sterling salary of Mr. Browne's Office from the 17th of June inclusive and Mr. Cheng Kam Ming drew $180 a year and Mr. Li Mun and Mr. Tong Hok-ling each drew $120 a year of the lapsing half salary of Mr. A. C. Franklin from 17th of June inclusive.
