REMARKS.

All Officers, with the exception of the Postmaster General, the Officers in the Money Order Department, the Correspondence Clerk, the Comprador and the Shroffs, draw an allowance for the extra work on the arrival of an English or French Mail from Europe on the following scale:-

Salary $1,200 and upwards $3 per Mail. Salary $600 and under $1,200, $2 per Mail. Salary $480 and under $600,

per Mail. Under $180; $0.25 per Mail.

The allowance is doubled in the case of an arrival on a Sunday or holiday.
