(1) Sir Henry A. Blake was absent from the Colony from 4th January to 8th September, 1902, and drew full salary loss entertain. ment allowance from 4th January to 3rd April, 1902, and half salary, ie, at rate of £2,100 per annum from 4th April to 8th September. 1902,

(2.) Sir W. J. Gascoigne drew entertaiment allowance at £800 per annum from 4th January to 3rd April, and half salary, 4.6., £2,100|| per annum + entertainment allowance at £800 per annum from 4th April to 8th September, 1902.

(3.) Mr. R. P. Johnston acted as Private Secretary up to 12th September, 1902, and drew salary at the rate of $2,400 per annum + exchange compensation. From 13th September to th November, 1902, Cupt. J. B. Arbuthnot acted as l'rivate Secretary and drew salary at £300 per annum.

(4.) Capt. Hon. 11. W. Trefusis acted as Aide-de-Camp and drew salary at $2.400 per annum + Exchange Compensation up to 8th September, 1902,
