Ventilation is very good all over ship and the cubic space allowed to each patient is there- fore liberal. On emergency over 110 could be argonimodated giv. ing each 600 fet on upper deck and 900 on lower deck." During the summerinonths Ventilation of the lower deck is not good owing to winds being light or absent.
