REMARKS.
(1) Mr. Badeley acted as Assistant Colonial Secretary from the 1st January till the 28th April when he went on leave, and Messrs. Corcoran and Mackie successively acted as Deputy Superintendent till the 17th October, when Mr. T. A. Howe, who is seconded from the Royal Irish Constabulary, acted in the post till the end of the year.
