Answers.

Practically unlimited, constant supply from public works.

Pokfulam and Taitam gathering grounds.

Good.

There is a fair amount of Bath and Lavatory accom- modation, the waste pipes from which have recently heads been re-arranged so as to discharge into open attached to a verticul waste pipe situated outside the building and trapped at its foot.

Water closets of the wash-out type provided with waste-preventing cisterns are used disconnected from the wards.

(I.) In reference to the above Table, state whether or not the Register Books wero produced on every occasion ; and if not, on how many occasions they were not so produced.

(II.) And if on any occasion when they wero exa- mined, they were found not to be properly made up to date of examination.

(III.) Stato also how many Reports of the fol- lowing kinds have come under the notice of the Governor :-

(a) Reports of a Financial and Statistical kind especially such as show the system on which Money and Store Accounts are kept and audited.

(b) Reports by Persons charged with the immno-

diate management of the Hospital.

(c) Reports by a Government Inspector, inle- pendent of the Governing Authority of the Hospital.
