Piers mund Wharves outside of the City of Vietoria will be subject to payments enleulated at one half the above seule.
In all enses where permission is given by the Director of Public Works to creet a pier over Crown Foreshore, and such pier is removed on or before the expiration of one calendar month from the date of granting such permission, the encroachmont shall not be subject to Crown Rent.

On fixed Deposits in Local Banks at 5 per cent. per annum, ns also the Interest allowed by the Hongkong & Shanghai Banking Corporation on Current Doposit Accounts, at the rate of 2 per cent, per anuum on the daily balance to credit of Government.
