The above senlo is for twelvo months. For six months six-twelfths of the foo will be charged, for nine months nine-twolfths, and so on, at the rate of one-twelfth for each month; but no fee is to be less in «nouut thau three-twolftlis. In all casCH of new storm-ships, or of stonm-ships coming under survoy for a Passenger Certifiento for the first time, a full twelve months' foo must be paid, notwithstanding that a Cortifiento for twelve months may not be required, and in no ease of an incompleto declaration will loss than three-twelfths bo charged.

Tho foo paid in nccordanco with the foregoing scale covers any number of visits that a Surveyor may require to inake before ho is ablu to grant his declaration, as well as the inspection of the lights and fog signals, and of the marking of the vessel, which inspection must be made by the Surveyor before ho can grant his declaration. The fee does not, however, apply to or includo any inspection of lights, fog signals, or marking, mado subsequently to the granting of the declaration,

The above feu does not cover any servico under the Chinese Pussongers' Acts, or measuromont for tonnage.
