LEASED LANDS :-

Crown Rents on Lands leased for periods varying from 14 to 999 years,

LANDS OCCUPIED BY CHINESE Villagers, SQUATTERS, &c., under Squatters' Licences issued by the Surveyor General, viz.:-

  • Villagers and Squatters at Hongkong at $1 per annum for 150 Square Feet,
  • Do. do. at Kaulung at $1 per annum for 300 Square Feet,
  • Cultivated Lands at Hongkong and Kaulung at 75 cents per annum per Mow = 7334 Square Yards,

PIERS AND WHARVES:-

Permission to erect a Pier or Wharf, other than a Pier or Wharf authorised by Ordinance :- Victoria, $15 per month.

STONE QUARRIES:-

Leased to the highest bidder by Tender for one year from 1st January to 31st December.

RENTS, EXCLUSIVE OF LANDS

The leases are disposed of at Public Auction Sales, held in accordance with Notifications.
