PERSONAL FEES.

ATTORNEY GENERAL.

Under Ordinance No. 16 of 1873, and Order of the Governor in Council of 28th August, 1885, a Fee of $25 is charged for investigating and reporting on the Title of the Applicant for registration of a Trade Mark.

Under a resolution of the Governor in Council of the 8th December, 1870, (C.S.O. 3119). (1.) A Fee of not less than $25 is charged for reporting on each Petition for Letters

Patent, under Ordinance 14 of 1862.

(2.) In case of special difficulties occurring, or of opposition to the grant of the Patent whereby special labours may be imposed, such further fees as may be determined by the Council, whether Petitioner succeeds in the prayer of his l'etition or not.

POLICE MAGISTRATES' COURT.

The First Clerk in this Court is authorised to charge the following fees :--

For certificates of the trial of soldiers, authorized by Mutiny Act,

of Commitment of Deserters,

COUNSEL AND SOLICITORS' FEES.

The following Scale of Fees is allowed to Counsel and Solicitors for defending, at the request

of the Government, prisoners charged with murder :-

Fee to Counsel for defending prisoners charged with murder before

the Supreme Court, each case,

$50.

Fee to Solicitor for first attendance before Magistrate, including

taking instructions,
