INTEREST.
On Investments in England at 4 % and 44% per annum Government Debentures.
On fixed Deposits in Local Banks at 5 per cent. per annum, as also the Interest allowed by the Hongkong & Shanghai Banking Corporation on Current Deposit Accounts, at the rate of 2 per cent. per annum on the daily balance to credit of Government.
MISCELLANEOUS RECEIPTS.
Under this head are brought to account the Receipts for Storage of Gunpowder under Section 37 of Ordinance 8, 1879, and Order of the Governor in Council of 23rd May, 1883, according to the following scale:-

fraction of a month.

Fees on granting duplicate Night Passes under Ordinance 14 of 1870, §2, and Order in
Council of 24th June, 1875, at $1 each.
Poundage on Dogs, Goats, &c., delivered up after seizure under §2 of Ordinance 14 of 1845,
and C.S.O. No. 1486 of 1876, at $3 each.
Unclaimed balances of indivisible residue and final dividend, and Interest on funds in Court
transferred to the General Revenue of the Colony under Ordinance 6 of 1854.
