LAND REVENUE.

Leased Lands:—

Crown Rents on Lands leased for periods varying from 14 to 999 years, per an.

LANDS OCCUPIED BY CHINESE VILLAGERS, SQUATTERS, &c., under Squatters' Licences issued by the Surveyor General, viz.:—

Villagers and Squatters at Hongkong at $1 per annum for 150 Square Feet,

Do. do. at Kau-lung at $1 per annum for 300 Square Feet,

Cultivated Lands at Hongkong and Kau-lung at 75 cents per annum per Mow (733 Square Yards).

STONE QUARRIES:—

Leased to the highest bidder by Tender for one year from 1st January to 31st December.

There is a premium paid in a lump sum by the persons to whom those leases are granted when the Shop, Lan or Stall is considered by the Lessees a very desirable holding.
