Under this head the following Receipts are brought to account:—

1. Amount realized by the sale of Unserviceable Stores.

REIMBURSEMENTS IN AID OF EXPENSES INCURRED BY GOVERNMENT.

Under this head are brought to account Receipts accruing from the sale of Articles manu-

factured by Prisoners.

Stoppages from Police Force for loss of Clothing and Arms.

Sick Stoppages from Police Force according to the following scale authorised under

Ordinance No. 9 of 1862, and Police Rules and Regulations 1873.

Grant-in-aid of Lock Hospital from the Admiralty £400-$1,920 annually.

Sums realised by the sale of Printed Forms at the Harbour Master's Office in terms of the

Ordinance No. 1 of 1862, and C.S O. No. 423 of 14th May, 1860.

For every Harbour Regulations not returned by the Master, $1.00

For every discharge of Seaman,

Contribution from the Imperial Post Office £1,270=$6,096 annually.

Interest paid the Governor for use of Furniture at Government House at 5 per centum per

annum.

Sums contributed from balance of Interest on Special Fund Investments, towards Police

Expenditure.

Sale of Chinese Gazette at 5 cash per copy.

Fees paid by Pupils of the various Government Schools according to the following rates

established by the Board of Education.
