MEASURES.
English Standard Measures are employed in the Colony, and also the following Chinese:—
According to the Measure established by the Treaty Tariff, 141 English Inches, or 3 Yards, 4 Inches, make one Cheung.
Ten Fan make one Tsun.
Ten Tsun make one Chek.
14 English inches make Four Fan.
About 13 English Inch make Ten Fan one Tsun.
