(9.) Mr. L. D'Almada e Castro entered Her Majesty's Service in the Office of the Chief Superintendent of British Trade in Chiua, on the 1st January, 1837, and was appointed by Sir Henry Pottinger, Bart, on the 1st July, 1843, to his present situation in the Colonial Secretary's Office.
(4) Mr. J. M. D'Almada e Castro entered lier Majesty's Service in the Office of the Chief Superintendent of British Trade in China, on the 1st January, 1841, and was appointed by Sir Henry Pottinger, Bart., on the 1st July, 1843, to the situation of 3rd Clerk in the Colonial Secretary's Office.
