35. The subjoined Returns shew that the British Mail Packets have arrived from home punctually, that the average time occupied by both the British and the French Mail Packets in making the voyage has been nearly the same as in the previous year; whilst 39 days is the shortest time in which

Mail has been conveyed from London to Hongkong.
