Fixing the Police Rate for the year 1869 at 1/4 per cent for Houses in the City of Victoria, and 1/8 four cent for Houses in the Village; and fixing the Fire Brigade Rate at Half per cent for Houses in the City of Victoria, such Rate being exclusive of a Lighting Rate of 1 1/2 per cent, and a Water Rate of 2 per cent per annum, under Ordinances No. 6 of 1863, and No. 12 of 1866.
