Sir,
I have the honor to submit Annual Report upon Public Works' progress during the past year.
Buildings.
Government House, contrary to my expectation, is not yet complete, notwithstanding I have made every feasible exertion to expedite the work; the Contractor and his securities received notice that the Bond would be enforced if more effective progress not made; but they complained that it was impossible to obtain some materials, purchases out or at exorbitant prices.
