MILITARY EXPENDITURE.

I

Enumerate the Military Posts and Works; specifying whether the same are under the control of the Ordnance Department, and whether any expense is incurred on account thereof

by the Colony;

A General Return of the Militia, and any other Local Corps, with the Charge attending the same;

The pecuniary Allowances (if any) granted to the Queen's Troops; and the value of Rations, Quarters, or other Advantages received by them, and forming a Charge on the Colony,

Ascertain and state the Amount of Bills drawn by the Commissariat for the Pay and Allowances of the Troops; the Amount of Bills drawn by the Ordnance Department for Pay

and Allowances of the Detachments of Royal Artillery and Engineers; and the Amount of Expenses incurred by the Ordnance Department for the construction and repair of Military Works.
