this sum is of course appropriated to the defraying of the expenses of the Colony, and the remainder of the above £60,351.9.85 is drawn from the Commissariat at this station- but as the Revenue comes in, and the drafts from the Commissariat are made, from time to time, no distinction can be made between them, in showing the Expenditures and they are pas indiscriminately for the Public Service!
