MILITARY EXPENDITURE.
Enumerate the Military Posts and Works; specifying whether the same are under the control of the Ordnance Department, and whether any expense is incurred on account thereof by the Colony;
A General Return of the Militia, and of any other Local Corps, with the Charge attending the same;
The pecuniary Allowances (if any) granted to the Queen's Troops; and the value of Rations, Quarters, or other Advantages received by them, and forming a Charge on the Colony.
Ascertain and state the Amount of Bills drawn by the Commissariat for the Pay and Allowances of the Troops; the Amount of Bills drawn by the Ordnance Department for Pay
and Allowances of the Detachments of Royal Artillery and Engineers; and the Amount of Expenses incurred by the Ordnance Department for the construction and repair of Military Works.
The Commissariat having been directed not to classify their Accounts under heads of Service, the Military Expenditures cannot be,

The pay of all the Ordnance Officers at the Station, amounting to £2,506.0.2, is drawn in Ex-land, and probably returned to the Colonial Department at home
