An Ordinance to amend the Probation of Oflenders Ordinance.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and concent
of the Legislative Council thereof.
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Probation of Offenders Short file. (Amendment) Ordinance 1979,
2 Section 4 of the principal Ordinance is amended by deleting Amed subsections (4) and (5)
section 4.

Section 5(2) of the principal Ordinance is amended by deleting Amendment of "$100" and substituting the following-
cction $,
"500".
4. Section 6 of the principal Ordinance is amended-
(a)
by deleting subsection (4) and substituring the following-
*(4) If a person in whose casc a probation order or an order for conditional discharge has been made by the High Court or the District Court is convicted by a magistrate's court in respect of an offence committed during the probation
