Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent
of the Legislative Council thereof.
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Duliable Commodities Short die. (Amendment) Ordinance 1978.
1. Section 69 of the principal Ordinance is amended-
Amendment of Section 69.
(e) by inserting after the definition of “aircraft spirit” the following— (Cap. 109)
""diesel oil for road vehicles" means any light diesel oil
which is not treated city":
(6) by inserting after the definition of "hydrocarbon oils" the follow-
ing
**“light diesel oil", commonly known as "gas off", means a heavy oil of which not more than 50 per cent by volume distils at a temperature not exceeding 240 Centigrade and of which more than 50 per cent by volume distils at
a temperature not exceeding 340° Centigrade;"";
(c) in the definition of "motor spirit" by deleting the full stop and
substituting a semicolon;
