137 (1) A man who knowingly lives wholly or in part on the camings of prostitution shall be guilty of ant offence and shall be liable on conviction on Indictment to imprisonment for 5 years.
(2) For the purposes of subsection (1), a
man who lives with or is habitually in the company of a prostitute, or who exercises control direction or influence over Woman's movements in a way which shows he is aiding. abelting or compelling her prostitution with others, shall be presumed to be knowingly living on the earnings of pro- stitution, unless he proves the contrary.
138. A woman who. for the purposes of gain, exercises control, direction or intuence over a woman's movements in a way which shows she is aiding, abelling or compelling ber prostitution shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction on indictment to imprisonment for 5 years,

a vice
(8) manga or assists in the management, or is other- wise in charge or control, of any premises, vessel or place kept as a vice establishment,
shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable-
(1) on summary conviction to a fine of $20,000 and to
imprisonment for 2 years: or
(L) on conviction on indictment to a fine of $20,000
and to imprisonment for 7 years.
Use of premises, etc. for illicit sexual purposes 140. An owner or occupier of any premises or vessel, and any person who manages or assists in the management or control of any premises or vessel, who induces or knoW- ingly suffers a girl under the age of 13 to resort to or be on such premises or vessel for the purpose of having unlawful sexual intercourse with men or with a particular man or for the purpose of prostitution shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction an Indictment to imprisoument for life.
141. An owner or occupier of any premises or vessel, and any person who manages or assists in the management or control of any premises or vessel, who Induces or know- ingly suffers a girl under the age of 16 to resort to or be on much premises or vessel for the purpose of having unlawful sexual intercourse with men of with a particular man or for the purpose of prostitution shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction on indictment to imprisonment for 14 years.
142. (1) Subject to subsection (2), an owner or occupier of any premises or vessel, and any person who manages or assists in the management or control of any premises or vessel, who induces or knowingly suffers a woman who is a defective to resort to or be on such premises or vessel for the purpose of having unlawful sexual intercourse with men or with a particular man or for the purpose of pros-

(2) A person is not guilty of an offence under this section because he Induces or knowingly suffers a woman who is a defective to resort to or be on à premises or vessel For any purpose mentioned in subsection (1) if he does not know and has no reason to suspect ber to be a defective.
143. A person who, being the owner or tenant of any premises or his agent-
(a) lets the whole or part of the premises with the knowledge that it is to be kept, in whole or in part, as a vice establishment of
(b) where the whole or part of the premises is used as a vice catablishment, is wilfully a party to that use continuing
shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on top- viction to a fine of $20,000 and to imprisonment for 2 ypaȚA,
144. A person who-
(a) being the tenant or occupier, or person in charge, of any premises permits or suffers the whole or part of the premises to be kept as a vice establish- ment; or
(b) being the owner, or the master or other person in charge, of any vessel permits or suffers the whole or part of the vessel to be kept us a vice establish- ment,
shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on convic- tion to a fine of $20,000 and to imprisonment for 2 yours.
145. A person who-
(a) being the tenant or occupier, or person in charge, of any premises permits or suffers the whole or part of the premises to be used for the purposes of habitual prostitution; or
(5) being the owner, or the master or other person in charge, of any vessel permits or suffers the whole or part of the vessel lo be used for the purposes of habitual prostitution,
shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine of $20,000 and to imprisonment for 2

Miscellaneous offences and provisions
146. (1) A person who commits an act of gross in- decency with or towards a child under the age of 14, or who incites a child under the age of 14 La commit such an act with or towards him or another, shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable oa conviction on in- dictment to imprisonment for 5 years.
(2) It shall not be a defence to a charge under this section to prove that the child consented to the act of gross indecency.
147. A person who in a public place or in view of the public-
(a) solicits for any immoral purpose; or
