(2) A magistrate may enforce the attendance of a person summoned under subsection (I) in the manner provided in Part II for enforcing the attendance of a witness.

(3) If, on the appearance of a person summoned under subsection (1), he refuses to be examined upon oath, or refuses to take such oath or having taken such oath refuses without just excuse to answer such questions concerning | the premises as may then be put to him, the magistrate may, by warrant under "bis hand and scal, commit such person to prison there to remain and be imprisoned for two months, unless he shall in the meantime consent to be examined and to answer concerning the premises.".

of the Legislative Council thereof.

L. This Ordinance may be cited as the Road Traffic (Amendment) Short dur. (No. 3) Ordinance 1977.

2. Section 5(1) of the principal Ordinance is amended by inserting. Amendpient of after paragraph (d), the following new paragraph-

"(da) the amendment by the Governor by order published in the Gazette of any provision made under this section specifying countries as countries the bolders of whose driver's certificates or hirences are exempt from the requirement to take a driving test;".
