(3) If the Registrar is satisfied that a name, being the subject of an application under subsection (1), is not already reserved and could be registered without contravention of section 20 or any other provision in that behalf, whether in this Ordinance or otherwise, he may advise the applicant accordingly and reserve the name for a period of 3 months from the date of the making of the application.

(4) If at any time during the period for which a name is reserved, application is made in writing for an extension of that period the Registrar may extend such period for a further 3 months

(5) An applicating for an extension of the period during which a name is freserved shall be accompanied by a foo of $10 for each paths,

(6) During the period for which a game is reserved, no company (other than the intended company) shall be formed || and registered under this Ordinance under the reserved name or any other name'(which so nearly resembles the reserved name as to be calculated to deceive and no company (other than the company in respect of which the name is reserved) shall change its name to the reserved name or any other Dame which so nearly resembles the reserved name as to be calculated to deceive.

(7) The reservation of a came under this section shall not by that reason only entitle an intended company to be formed and registered under this Ordinance by that name or a company to change its name to that name”,

Section 22 of the principal Ordinance is amended by deleling subsection (2) and substituting the following—

(2) 16, through inadvertence or otherwise, a company on ils first registration, or on its registration by a new name, is registered by a name which in the opinion of the Registrar contravenes section 20 or any other provision in that behalf, whether in this Ordinance or otherwise, the company shall within a period of 6 weeks from the date of its being required by the Registrar to do so, or such longer period as the Registrar may think it to allow, change its name to a nATTHE approved by the Registrar. If a company makes default in complying with the requirements of this subsection, it shall be liable to a fine of $500 for every day during which the default continues.",
