An Ordinance to provide for the establishment of the Hong Kong
Examinations Authority and connected matters.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent
of the Legislative Council thercof.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Hong Kong Examinations Short title and Authority Ordinance 1977 and shall come into operation on a day to commencement. be appointed by the Governor by notice in the Gagerte.
2. In this Ordinance, unless the context otherwise requires- "Authority" means The Hong Koog Examinations Authority established
under section 3;

"specified examinations" means the examinations specified in the Schedule Schedule.
3. (1) The Hong Kong Examinations Authority is hereby established. Buben (2) The Authority shall consigl ̧ of-
