An Ordinance to amend the Interpretation and General Clauses Ordinance.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent
of the Legislative Council thereof.
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Interpretation and General Short title. Clauses (Amendment) Ordinance 1977,
2 Section 3 of the principal Ordinance is amended by deleting Amendment of the definitions of "standard" time" and "summer time”.

3 Sections 67 and 68 of the principal Ordinance are repealed and Repeat and replaced by the following new section—
“Rong Kong Timmat
67. (1) Whenever any expression of time occurs in any Ordinance the time referred to is Hong Kong Time.
(3) For the purposes of subsection (1) "Hong Kong Time" means the time used for general purposes through- out Hong Kong namely, & hours, or such other period as may be determined by the Legislative Council by resolution, in advance of Greenwich Mean Time.
