(b) by adding after subsection (1) the following new subsection-
"(IA) For the purposes of this Ordinance a company which is
(a) incorporated in Hong Kong under the Companies Ordinance or to which Part XI of the Companies Ordinance applies; and
(b) not otherwise liable to be registered under this
Ordinance,
shall be deemed to be a person carrying on business and shall be liable to be registered under this Ordinance,”.

3. Section 9 of the principal Ordinance is amended by adding after subsection (5) the following new subsection-
"(6) This section shall not apply to any company which incorporated in Hong Kong under the Companies Ordinance of to which Part XI,,of the Companies Ordinance applies”.

4. Section 16 of the principal Ordinance is amended in para- graph (c)~
(a) by deleting the semicolon at the end thereof and substituting a
colon; and
(b) by inserting at the end thereof the following-
"Provided that this paragraph shall not apply to any company which is incorporated in Hong Kong under the Companies Ordinance or to which Part XĨ of the Companies Ordinance applies.".
Regulation 9 of the Business Registration Regulations is amended by deleting Form 1(6) and substituting the following--
