An Ordinance to amend the Companies Ordinance.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent
of the Legislative Council thereof.
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Companies (Amendment) Short title, (No. 4) Ordinance 1975.

Section 45(1) of the principal Ordinance is amended by-
Amendment of #ector 45.
(a) inserting in paragraph" (a) after "on each share" the following- Ca 12)
"and the amount of premium, if any, paid or payable on each share"; and
(8) deleting paragraph (6) 'and substituting the following-
*(8) in the case of shares allotted as fully or partly paid up otherwise than in cash, or allotted in consideration of a premium paid or payable wholly or partly otherwise than in cash, a contract in writing constituting the title of the allotter to the allotment together with any con“ tract for sale, or for services or other consideration in respect of which that allotment was made, such con- tracts being dudy stamped, and a return stating the
