An Ordinance to authorize the grant of increases in pensions.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong with the advice and consent
of the Legislative Council thereof.
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Pensions (lacrease) Ordinance Sbor utk. 1975.
2. In this Ordinance, unless the context otherwise requires- "adjusted pension" means the basic pension plus any authorized jucrease; "authorized increase" means an increase in the basic pension authorized
under section 4:
Jnterpretadon,
"basic pension" means the yearly amount of any pension or other allows ance payable by way of periodical payments under an Ordinance specified in the First Schedule and, where part of such pension or Fit Schedule. allowance has been commuted, means the yearly amount of the pension or allowance as reduced by the commutation; "non-pensionsbk office" means an office which is not a pensionable office: "pensionable office" means a pensionable office as defined in section 2(1)
of the Pensions Ordinance;
