An Ordinance to establish the Construction Industry Training Authority; to provide for facilities for the training of persons employed in the construction industry and for a levy to be paid by contractors in respect of construction works.

PART I
PRELIMINARY
This Ordinance may be cited as the Industrial Training (Construc- Shon dile mud tlon Industry) Ordinance 1975 and shall come into operation on a day commencemeat. to be appointed bỹ the Governor by notice in the Gazette.
2. (1) In this Ordinance, unless the context otherwise requires— "Authority" means the Construction Industry Training Authority established
by section 4
"authorized person" means-
(a) in relation to building or street works not carried out by or on behalf of the Crown, the authorized person appointed under section 4 of the Buildings Ordinance;
(b) in relation to construction works carried out by or on behalf
of the Crown, the person appointed under section 34(1); (c) in relation to other construction works, the person appointed
under section 34(2);
