An Ordinance to amend the Public Health and Urban Services
Ordinance and to repeal various Ordinances.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.
1.
This Ordinance may be cited as the Public Health and Urban Services (Amendment) Ordinance 1973 and shall come into operation on the 1st day of April 1973.
2. Section 2 of the principal Ordinance is amended- (a) by inserting after the definition of "boarding house"
the following new definition---
"book" includes a document, periodical, magazino,
newspaper, pamphlet, music-score, gramophonG record, picture, print, engraving, etching, deed, photograph, map, chart, plan, film, filmstrip, microfilm, slide or manuscript, and any other article or thing of a like nature, provided for the use of the public in any library, whether or not the library is the property of the Govern- ment;":
