Amendment of section 37.

13A. Any person who-
(a) contravenes any condition contained in a permit issued to him by the Director of Public Works under section 13(6)(a); or (b) contravenes any condition or limitation specified in an order made by the Governor in Council under section 13(4).
shall be liable to a fine of five thousand dollars.
Section 37 of the principal Ordinance is amended--- (a) in paragraph (d) by deleting "and" where it occurs after
the semicolon; and
s
(b) by the insertion after paragraph (d) of the following new
paragraph-
"(da) the issue by the Director of Public Works of permits for the purposes of section 13, the admission of such permits in evidence and the imposition by the Director of Public Works in such permits of the conditions under which work as defined in section 1307) shall be carried out and”.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Waterworks (Amend- ment) Ordinance 1972.
2. Section 2 is amended in subsection (1) by dekling the definition of "quarter".
3. Section 5 of the principal Ordinance is amended in paragraph (a) by deleting “quarterly or at such lesser periods as the water authority may in any case determine" and substituting the following-
"at such periods as the water authority may determine”,
