Provided that no such person shall undertake or conduct as counsel the case for a defendant at the committal or trial of such defendant in any criminal cause or matter or conduct any appeal on behalf of any such defendant in any criminal cause or matter. (4) Notification in the Gazerte to the effect that a person has been appointed to any of the offices referred to in subsection (1), or has ceased to hold any such office, shall be sufficient proof of the facts stated in the notice.”.
3. Section 28 of the principal Ordinance is amended by inserting, after paragraph (p) of subsection (2), the following-
"(pa) provide, either generally or specially, for the fees and costs of any officer holding office under section 3 in respect of any civil matter (whether contentious or non- contentious) in which he has occasion to act;".
