An Ordinance to amend the Evidence Ordinance.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Evidence (Amend- ment) Ordinance 1972.

Section 23D of the principal Ordinance is amended-
(a) in subsection (1), by deleting "for chemical examination
or analysis"; and
(b) in subsection (2), by deleting "chemical".
3. The principal Ordinance is amended by adding after section 23F the following new sections-
"Certificates
of accuracy
of specdo
Imeters and tader and weighing devices.
23G. (1) A document purporting—
(a) to be a record of the testing of the accuracy,
inspection and servicing of
(i) the speedometer of the motor vehicle specified in the document:
