An Ordinance to amend the Police Force Ordinance.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Police Force (Amendment) Ordinance 1972.
Short title.
2. Section 8 of the principal Ordinance is amended by Amendment of adding the following new subsections--
section 8.
(Cap. 232.)
"(3) The Commissioner may-
(a) establish such associations as he may think fit,
composed only of police officers;
(b) recognize any association composed only of police
officers of the rank of inspector and above.
