Explanatory Note.
(This Note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general purport),
Regulation 3 confers on the Secretary of State power to grant
operating permits. The Secretary of State will exercise such power
concurrently with the Board of Trade.
2 Regulations 4 and 5 make consequential amendments to the principal regulations.

PUBLIC ORDER ORDINANCE,
(Chapter 245).
FRONTIER CLOSED AREA (AMENDMENT) ORDER 1971.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 36 of the Public Order Ordinance, the Governor has made the following order-
1. This order may be cited as the Frontier Closed Area (Amendment) Order 1971.
2. The Schedule to the principal order is amended-
(a) in the paragraph relating to Northern and Eastern Boundaries by deleting "SOUTH WEST following the coast line along the high water-mark to map reference KV 133951" and substituting the following-
"NORTH EAST across the mouth of STARLING INLET to map reference KV 162966, thence SOUTH following the coast line of STARLING INLET along the high water-mark to map reference KV 133951"; and
(b) in the paragraph relating to Southern and Western Boundaries by deleting "thence to Road and Railway junction at KV 029941" and substituting the following-
"thenoc to gate on railway track at KV 031934".
