DRUG ADDICTION TREATMENT CENTRES ORDINANCE,
(Chapter 244).
MA PO PING ADDICTION TREATMENT CENTRE
ORDER 1972.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Drug Addiction Treatment Centres Ordinance, the Governor has made the following order-
1. This order may be cited as the Ma Po Ping Addiction Treatment Centre Order 1972 and shall come into operation on the Ist day of January 1972.
2.
The site and buildings situated at Tong Fuk on the island of Lantau, New Territories, and hitherto known as Tong Fuk Prison, is appointed to be an addiction Treatment centre for the cure and rehabilitation of persons found guilty of criminal offences, and shall be known as Ma Po Ping Addiction Treatment Centre.
