16. The principal regulations are amended by adding, after regulation 18, the following new regulation-
"Ablution facilities.
18A. Every licensee shall provide within bis licensed premises, at places which are readily accessi- ble from the workrooms and lavatories, adequate facilities in which persons working in the premises may wash their hands, including an adequate supply of hot and cold running water, nail brushes, soap or other detergents and disposable paper towels.".
17. Regulation 20 of the principal regulations is amended by deleting “senior veterinary officer", in both places where it occurs, and substituting the following

18. The principal regulations are amended by adding, after regulation 21, the following new regulation-
"Lighting
21A. (1) Every licensed premises shall be of promises, equipped with adequate and evenly distributed
lighting.
(2) If artificial lighting is provided in the slaughterhall and workrooms in any licensed premises. it shall be of an overall intensity of at least twenty foor candles.
(3) If artificial lighting is provided in any places in licensed premises where inspections are carried out under regulation 13 or 14, it shall be of an overall intensity of at least fifty foot candles.",
19. Regulation 24 of the principal regulations is amended by deleting "senior veterinary officer" and substituting the following—
"Director".
20. Regulation 26 of the principal regulations is revoked and replaced by the following new regulations-
"First aid equipment.
26. Every Licensee shall provide in a visible and readily accessible place within his licensed premises an adequate supply of bandages, dressings and anti-

septic for the first aid treatment of persons working in the premises.
26A. Every licensee shall-
(4) cause all manure bays in his licensed premises to be dusted with an effective contact insec- ticide at least once every twenty-four hours: (b) cause the walls enclosing the manure bays in the premises, and any wall surfaces in the premises which are exposed to the sun in the vicinity of such bays, to be sprayed at least once every month to a height of ten feet from the ground with an effective contact insecticide which has residual insecticide properties;
(c) take all other reasonable steps to prevent the presence of flies in and about the premises; and
(d) take all reasonable steps to keep the premises free from rats, mice, birds and insects,".
21. Regulation 27 of the principal regulations is amended by deleting paragraph (1).
22. Regulation 29 of the principal regulations is amended by deleting "or skin, fat" and substituting the following-

24. Regulation 33 is revoked and replaced by the following new regulation-
"Director

33. (1) The Director may, if in bis opinion it is may exclude expedient to do so for the efficient management or operation of any licensed premises, by order in writing prohibit the entry of persons, permanently or for such period as he thinks fit, into any specified part of the premises.
(2) A copy of an order under paragraph (1) shall be posted in a conspicuous place outside the part of any licensed premises to which it relates.
(3) No person shall without the permission of the Director or an authorized officer enter or remain in any part of any licensed premises in respect of which an order has been made under paragraph (1).”.
