TELECOMMUNICATION (AMENDMENT)
REGULATIONS 1971,
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 37 of the Telecommunication Ordinance, the Governor in Council has made the following regulations-
1. These regulations may be cited as the Telecommunication (Amendment) Regulations 1971 and shall come into operation on the 1st April 1971.
2. Regulation 2 of the principal regulations is amended by deleting paragraph (3) and substituting the following-
"(3) A broadcast television receiving licence granted on or after the 1st April 1971 shall be valid from the day on which it is granted until the 1st April 1972.".
3. The First Schedule to the principal regulations is amended by deleting items 8 and 9 and substituting the following-
Broadcast Television
Receiving (Domestic).. $3 per domestic
premises
9. Broadcast Television
Receiving (General)... $3 per viewing
